This handmade artwork depicts the bond between a mother and its child. The Bronze material depicts the everlasting relationship between the pair. The sculpture is an image of the artists own attachment to her mother and the wonderful relationship shared between them. The rough surfaces symbolizes that this bond has weathered many a storm but further emblematic of the bond shared by the two.
This artwork is a depiction of care and understanding among human beings. A person is reaching out to lift the other person out of their depression. When a person is down, it is our responsibility to try and help them to the best of our capacity. The ladder is symbolic of progress. If we as a human race help one another, we can move up the ladder quicker together and work towards a better tomorrow.
This handmade Bronze artwork was inspired by my sister. To me, it brings back the joys of childhood. She would spend hours in our shared bedroom skipping and humming to herself. In this sculpture, you can see she is imbalanced and therefore about to fall. Skipping Girl is symbolic of the fact that human beings fall but can always stand back up and triumph over adversity.
Connect is an artwork based on hope. Post the horrors of coronavirus, it’s important for family members to heal. Helping each other through these tough times has shown us the resilience we have as human beings. Connect depicts the love shared between a family.
Interconnectedness lies at the core of my work. Human beings forming societies based on mutual cooperation, sharing, and communicating; animals protecting and helping each other in groups; the rhythms of nature in which we take food, water, warmth, energy from the elements… my work is an appreciation of all these connections. It is also a plea to all of us to recognize the importance of our mutual dependence. Human beings are nothing if not together.

Family Unit is a handmade Bronze artwork that speaks of a modern family unit. The arms linked together portray that we as human beings are the same regardless of colour, cast or religious beliefs. The challenges of modern life have fundamentally affected how individuals act. Together, people can strive towards a better tomorrow. Family Unit therefore symbolizes the hope that we as a whole can come together and live in harmony with one another.
Concern depicts human beings embracing one another. The rough exterior shows the rough times we can go through in life and how it takes your own strength and others kindness to help you through these difficult times.

This is the bust of a tribal girl from Maharashtra, and her face attempts to tell the tragic story of tribal people everywhere – a story of destruction. Their isolation has suffered in the onslaught of modern life. Due to the modernization of our livelihoods, climate change is affecting our lands. Natural calamities have increased which is destroying people’s homes world over and the vulnerable sections of society are the worst affected. This Artwork hopes to bring attention to the urgent need of preserving and protecting the habitat and culture of tribal people across India.
Our Shadow depicts an Indian tribal woman. The half-faced sculpture along with her reflection depicts how tribal people across India have been exploited, and therefore are now a mere shadow of their former selves. Poverty and exploitation are some of the reasons that tribal folk in India get discriminated against. The hope is for people everywhere to work together peacefully while respecting one another’s culture. This piece aims to raise awareness on these issues.

Vultures are important for our ecosystems. They can spot and clean rotting carcasses thereby helping the outbreak of diseases in the environment. This artwork depicts a vulture perched on a tree branch looking down for prey. Human beings are advancing towards it hastening its extinction. Indian vultures on the one hand have died out in bulk due to the drug Diclofenac, found in carcasses of cattle that vultures fed on. On the other hand, the African vultures are poached and used in traditional medicine and as meat. Being a Parsi Zoroastrian myself, vultures play a vital role in our culture.
